LIFE IS NOT A COMIC BOOK

THE INVINCIBLES tells the story of Steve, Dan, Tim and Carlos, four lifelong friends on the cusp of turning thirty who are not too keen on becoming adults. They spent their twenties building, quietly, long-term relationships with women and now know the comfort of a coupled existence. As 30 looms over them like one of the evil characters in the comic strip they are haunted by a terrible realization: that playtime is over!

But what if it's not? What if they could still take advantage of the final minutes of playtime? What if our four friends gave themselves permission to live a last irresponsible, immature fling?

Throughout the 35 episodes of this dramatic comedy, our four everyday “superheroes” struggle to find a balance between their desire for freedom and their need for stability.

A solemn Pact sets the rules for their adventures, but will seldom be upheld. They end up testing each other and everyone around them. At the end of their quest, they come to realize that you can't put off being an adult forever.
