A RARE FORAY INTO ONE OF THE OLDEST REFUGEE CAMPS IN THE WORLD
Shatila is a Palestinian refugee camp in Lebanon where hundreds were killed in a 1982 massacre. Where does it stand today? What's happening with these forgotten refugees with no country and no status?
The documentary EXILE WITHOUT END is a unique immersive experience that takes you into one of the world's oldest refugee camps, through its overcrowded streets and alleyways, in search of the people who have been living there for over 60 years. You'll meet children politicized from infancy playing war games in the back yard; Fatima, whose son spends his meagre allowance helping his brothers and sisters; and old Tawil, who lived through the 1948 exodus and is frantically looking for the key he misplaced to his house in Palestine . . . Step into the daily lives of all these people, left stateless by the nakba (catastrophe) that consigned an entire people to forced idleness and oblivion.
