The Canadian, Graeme Ross, was Chairman of the International Association of Animated films and, moreover, produced award-winning works. We will surely have recognized the title of one of La Fontaine's fables in the title of this film : it was this fable which inspired Ross. But the wards have made way for pictures. Ross produced six thousand drawings and numerous backdrops for this seven-minute film! This masterpiece, wherein each picture is a veritable painting, races along to a Rossini accompaniement. The Hare and the Turtle shows us a fascinating world, that of the childhood, which lies dormant in each of us.
